Relics of summerset – Fan of the False Face GUIDE

As part of ESO’s Summerset Chapter, you can get a furnishing item called the Fan of the False-Face. This lovely looking fan can be activated and will temporarily turn you into a cute monkey!

To begin your journey on getting your own fan, you will need to travel to the College of Psijics Ruins in Artaeum and talk to Relicmaster Glendr. Note: To access Artaeum, you can complete a few quests in the Queen’s Decree quest line to unlock the area or you can also travel to another player that is there.

Start the quest “The Vault of Moawita” with Glendr and obtain a transcription of The Psijic Codex. The book is very useful and contains clues on where to find the stolen relics.

You will need to collect the cursed relics before anyone comes to harm. There are a total of twenty (20) relics hidden throughout Summerset. The relics are contained in chests labeled “Thieves Guild Dead Drop”. Each relic is unique and will apply a temporary effect on your character related to it’s name. I found that the Ever-Filling Chalice was quite funny but will leave the effects as a surprise for you to experience. The names of the stolen relics are listed below:

SUMMERSET: Location of RELICS

1) Lantern of Lies

3) The Unraveling Wand

wand location — Relic is located below a bridge close to Rellenthil

4) Heart of Indrik

indrik pickup location — Go from Cey-tarn Keep wayshrine and follow the stream.

5) Skull of Minor Cursing

6) The Shadowcutter Blade

The relic is located above a pit.

7) Soul Keepers Urn

urn location — The relic can be found behind Tarnamirs Manor.

8) Chest of Condemnation

chest of condemnation pick up — Go upstream until you see very large tree with a ledge. The relic will be located under what looks like a broken arch made of stone.

9) The Never Ending Scroll

scroll location — The relic is near a bridge.

10) The Inescapable Helm

helm pick up — This relic has by far has the most disturbing curse.

The pillow of sweet dreams relic is located on Gryphon Aeries

13) Fan of the False Face

Fan of False Face — Go from Kings Haven Pass Wayshire. The relic is near a small waterfall.

14) Mirror of Fatal Premonition

15) The Monochrome Paintbrush

paint bush location — The item is located outside of Shimmerene.

jaunt of the jilted pick up — On a beach east a tad bit away from Sil-Var-Woad Abyssal Geyser.

18) The Everfilling Chalice

location — The relic is located in a corner hidden behind what looks like a pile of corpses.

19) Chest plate of Desiccation

chest piece location — The relic is in a corner behind a tower near Sunhold.

20) The Shattering Sword

You will need to return these relics to the College of Psijics Ruins. Place each relic in their appropriate glass displays to complete the achievement: The Relics of Summerset. You will be rewarded with the Fan of False-False in your Collections tab.
